I had the honor of speaking to the Asian Women Advancing AI (AWAAI) community on a topic deeply close to my heart: How to Use Gen AI To Supercharge Your Career: A Guide for Asian Women to Gain Visibility, Build Presence & Get Ahead.

In my talk, I talked about the unique cultural challenges faced by Asian women and shared a 5-point framework to help Asian women structure their Gen AI prompts in a way that’s culturally-attuned and context-rich, so AI becomes a more relevant, personalized career companion:

🔹 Context: "I'm an Asian woman who..." (Add personal/professional background.)

🔹 Specific Situation: "I'm currently facing..." (Describe the specific challenge or scenario.)

🔹 Cultural Consideration: "Due to my cultural background, I struggle with..." (Share relevant cultural influences, biases, or barriers.)

🔹 AI’s Persona: "Act as..." (Specify the perspective: mentor, coach, sponsor, trusted colleague, etc.)

🔹 Desired Outcome: "Help me..." (Define clearly what outcome or insights you need.)
